Kendra Yarke is excited to join the Artistic Team with Smartmouth Comedy as the Program Manager!
Kendra Yarke is a kindergarten teacher by day and theater artist and comedian by night. She enjoys teaching young children and creating a positive learning environment. In her free time, Kendra explores the world of improv, sketch comedy, and stand-up. She has been involved in productions like "Who Killed Ariel: A Princess Murder Mystery," "The Marvelous Wonderettes," "Hexes on Exes," and "Christmas with the Campbells." Kendra has also written sketches and worked as a lead writer for "Director's Cut: Survivor."
Apart from her performing arts endeavors, Kendra is passionate about using the arts for social justice causes. She has participated in performances with Dark Muse Performing Arts, including projects, "The Uprising Volume 1 and 2."
Outside of work and theater, Kendra enjoys running and cycling around the Twin Cities. She also has a love for travel, particularly visiting National Parks across the United States. In her downtime, she likes to sew and work on various creative projects.
